Sad News......(January 1st, 2010) This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life and I'm so glad that I know that God is with me. My mother who just turned 60 in August was not feeling well over Christmas and the last two weeks before that, but no pain really. On this past Tuesday morning, my Dad took her into the emergency room. By 48 hrs. later, she was in surgery. We are simply crushed as to the news of the surgeon yesterday, after her surgery. Simply put, she was already so full of cancer when they opened her up that they had to give up and just sew her back up. It's like we've already begun to have to give up Mama in our hearts and minds, knowing that she will be leaving us soon. We cry and hug each other and are just leaning hard on God. This is so difficult. The next few weeks are likely to be all that we'll have here on earth with Mom and so I'll probably be gone a lot as Mom is 650 miles from me, in Peoria, IL. Because of this, I am going to have quite a challenge knowing how to keep the paperwork end of my puppy business going, in between the 1300 mile round trip trips that I'll be making every couple of weeks, but I am sure that God will help me. I'm so thankful that I have Job and Debbie Russell and their 5 sweet children to take good care of my doggies, 24/7. They love my doggies like I do, and along with the help of my husband and children and the Russells, everything will be covered. I'm so blessed. We appreciate your prayers at this time. I'm resting in God. He is our only Hope and He's the help and strength that we need now and will continue to need.
During this time, I plan to be replying to emails once daily Monday through Saturday as there are puppies that need to be adopted out. Please email me and I can easily take care of airline reservations, etc., while I'm away. No problem. In fact with the added expenses in these coming weeks, it will be important that I am able to have puppies adopted out on a regular basis. Just understand that during this period of time it will be very difficult for me to do any extras on picture taking, so you may have to be content with just the basics. I'm sure you understand and I appreciate it. But as for whether you may contact me, YES, please do! Email is my first preference ( evelynlyonsmith@yahoo.com ) but you may also call me on my cellphone (308-962-0025) if you don't get me at my home. (308-268-4048) If it's such I cannot talk, I'll just let my voice mail do it's job, and I will return your calls, I promise. We see to it that each has individualized attention and that all is done to ensure optimal health and personality traits as well. NOTE : Keep in mind that the pictures are taken up close and this tends to make them look larger than they really are. This is important though as to show their markings, the healthy shine of their coats and the brightness/clearness of their eyes. If you're in doubt as to their size, look at the hands holding the puppy or look to see what I say they weigh now. If it's not listed, please ask. Over and over again, after our clients have picked up their puppy they have commented to us, "Oh, I had no idea that my puppy would be so small. Oh, he is so tiny and cute!"
Shipping is an additional $299 USD, to any airport in the lower 48 states. We can get a price for international shipping. It's generally is about double. For details see page entitled "Deposit, Adoption, Shipping Details".
References are available upon request. We have many satisfied customers. Many have submitted testimonials, all doing so upon their own initiative, and without our requesting that they do so. Our facilities is inspected from time to time by the Nebraska State Department of Agriculture, as we are licensed breeders and are in accordance with their standards and regulations. We are also inspected by AKC and are in compliance with all of their demands as well.

I realize that I have been very detailed in information in setting up this website. What I hear from you is that you appreciate that and want all of the information that you can get on the breed, what kind of care your puppy will receive from us before coming to your home, and shipping details, etc. If you are a detailed type of person, you should be able to find the information you're looking for by going to the appropriate page. If you are more of a general type of person, we do not desire to bore you with more information than you want. If that is the case, please take a few minutes to at least browse through the pictures we've included. We seek to supply all information that is desired and to make a plain statement that we're transparent and happy to deliver any information you're looking for.
